Degree-seeking Parent-On-Campus Student

If you wish to pursue a degree program at University of St. Thomas, you must apply for admission. Please contact the Undergraduate Admissions with questions.

Non-Degree-seeking and Auditing Parent-On-Campus Student

Non-degree students must complete the non-degree application to be assigned a registration time ticket.

Additional Forms for First-Time and Returning Parent-On-Campus Student

Returning students are students who have interrupted their enrollment for one or more semesters.

The completed signed forms can be mailed, faxed, emailed or delivered to the Office of Student Data and Registrar.

Parent(s) are eligible if their son or daughter is a full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate student (currently enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester credits).

Eligible parent(s) may receive the Parent on Campus tuition benefit on up to two undergraduate courses (or eight credits) on a space available basis during the fall and spring semesters.

A maximum of 24 non-degree credits may be applied toward an undergraduate degree program.

  • Graduate level courses
  • St. Thomas Executive Education courses
  • Courses during January or summer terms
  • Exchange courses at ACTC schools
  • Study abroad courses

Everything except tuition for up to eight credits, such as:

  • Books
  • Cost of laboratory fees, music or voice lessons, or other fees associated with classes such as some business and computer courses etc. Additional Fees Information
  • Individual study/experiential learning projects; directed study
  • Application or deposit fees (degree seeking students)
  • Cost of St. Thomas parking permit

All Parent-on-Campus registration begins five business days prior to the start of each fall and spring semester*. Specific registration dates are listed along with other information for Non-Degree students.

*J-Term and summer classes are not covered by the Parent-on-Campus discount.

 

Pre-requisties, closed, and waitlisted courses:

Instructor signatures are required on the Add/Drop Form to enroll in courses that are closed, waitlisted or if pre-requisite and/or co-requisite coursework exists which you have not completed at the University of St. Thomas.

Card Office:

Once you are registered for class(es), get your St. Thomas ID at the Card Office. You will need an St. Thomas ID to purchase a parking permit, check out materials from the library, and use the athletic facilities.

Contact the Tech Desk if you need help accessing St. Thomas email, Blackboard, Canvas or other campus technology.
